Rig'Em Right was born in the woods and waters around Eastern North Carolina where we still call home today. Our founder has spent his life hunting the famed Hyde County where many of our products were born. The second largest by area and second least populated, it's home to 5,800 hard-working farmers and commercial fishermen and a ton of ducks, deer, turkey & black bear. Throw in some nasty swampland, dense forest, and rough coastal waters, it's the perfect playground to inspire the great gear we've produced for more than 15 years.
SCIENCE OF OPTIFADE
The new HydeOut Collection boasts an Optifade interior to help you disappear inside your blind without having to wear a basic black hoody, and all the while eliminating The black hole effect"that just doesn't look natural in the woods. Additionally, we wrapped our carrying cases and backpacks in Optifade to help you sneak through the woods undetected, because let's face it, a crummy black backpack sticks out like a... black backpack.

We made the blind camouflage on the inside so you can blend in to the interior while wearing your SITKA Gear technical apparel. Most blinds are black on the inside and require you to then replace your jacket with a black hoodie in order to blend in. With SITKA Gear producing such high-quality and highly functional outerwear, we believe you shouldn't have to remove it while you hunt.
While the blind is water repellent, rain can certainly enter around the windows and from the ground. The Hydeout and Hydeout XL are made with a water resistant material that will shed water from the roof and walls. However, any open doors or windows will certainly let water in so position your blind wisely.
The blind has a zipper closure for those who choose to use it, but it also has S-hooks that can be used instead of the zipper for a quiet entry/exit option.
NO. Our blind is designed to quietly lower the mesh using the high viz hooks before shooting.
Yes, each blind comes with a camouflage carrying case. And it actually fits BACK into the carrying case when you try to put it away.
The buckles are to add native vegetation for greater concealment. Also notice there’s a small pouch below each buckle to hold it in place if you have to get up and go.
Yes.
Easy. There’s a small learning curve but once you get the hang of it, it’s easy. If you’ve had experience with a hub style blind, it should take about 45 seconds to set up time. From the time you take it out of the case, it should take a minute or less.
