I’ve tried the marsupial gear and 5.11 shotgun pouch. None are built with the waterfowler in mind like these. I’ve been using the same pouch for 5 years and have accumulated more every season. I’m 6 RER neoprene shell holders in and hoping I get more for the holidays. Well made product. Not waterproof, but definitely splash proof. Don’t leave in an inch of standing water or it will slowly seep in… as expected. I don’t believe it was designed to do anything than replace waterlogged cardboard and offer quick access to shells in a boat or on a blind. A must buy for the waterfowler.
I bought one years ago and loved it. Decided to buy another one. The new one is too small to fit a box of 12ga. 3” shells.
Well made
I ordered 2 of the 3 inch shell savers about 4 months ago. They fit great and worked great. I ordered some more 2 weeks ago. They are a different size. They won’t fit 12ga 3inch. Confirmed that I ordered the same thing both times.
Looks good on top of keeping them dry! Could use a few more!
