Not even water-resistant.

From a design standpoint, this bag solves a lot of problems. It stands or hangs up straight and keeps gear and shells handy. It's a backpack, so it rides hands-free and out of the way when you're wading, getting in or out of the boat, handling firearms, and so forth. But it absolutely soaks up rainwater like a sponge and somehow deposits it directly on your gear, your shells, and your soul. It may not be possible to waterproof the bag, but for the money, it should at least be water-resistant.

Great bag, but quality is an issue.

Well designed backpack but shoulder strap separated from top of bag after just three seasons. Hopefully they have improved the stitching in that area.

By far the best blind bag/gear bag I’ve ever used. Holds everything from shells to gloves, to spinning wing decoys, and everything in between. My old bag was too small and cumbersome to walk in with. This bag has many handle and straps that function in many useful ways. My buddy broke his throttle cable and we were stuck in the intracoastal water way in deep fog, thanks to the genius paracord handle we were able to Cajun engineer our selves out of a difficult situation and go on with the hunt. Shout out to rig em right for creating the go to gear bag for the new guys and the old geezers that have been grinding it out for decades. Best bag in the industry

Waterproof zipper

Overall the bag is amazing a lot of room for everything to fit. The only thing that I don't understand is why make it float if the zipper on the side is not waterproof?
